Enjoy every ride with safety
As a society, we want our surroundings to be safe for every individual. Drivers’ verification is an essential need of our society. In India, drivers are a vital part of the Indian economy; they have a strong presence in the Indian corporate sector. Industries like BPO hire cab drivers in bulk for their internal staff; food delivery apps like Zomato and Swiggy hire delivery partners to deliver food to their end clients, like you and me. What if any cab driver who is dropping you off at your office to go home is rash? Or what is that food delivery guy doing wrong with your food? Don’t you think it is our responsibility to make every effort to create a crime-free country? Here we are going to understand about drivers, licence types, and driver’s verification.
Direct Employment:
Lots of big corporate MNCs, logistics, and government agencies directly hire can drivers according to their needs.
Third-Party and Contractual Employment:
Lots of industries (BPO, taxi services, ride-sharing platforms, luxury and event transportation) mainly hire cab drivers for their clients. Companies like Ola, Rapido, Uber, etc., hire cab drivers to serve their end clients, like us.
Aggregator Platforms:
Generally, drivers work as independent or gig workers in association with different merchants like Blinkit, Zomato, Swiggy, etc. We do not think much, but drivers are involved in our day-to-day life.
Fleet Operators and Subcontractors:
Companies that do fleet operations and work with logistics and transport. Bulk hiring of drivers is normal for logistics companies because these types of firms manage overseas transportation for goods.
Delivery Partners:
In our daily life, we can see two-wheeler delivery partners who work with different organisations like Flipkart Ekart, Amazon Delivery Partner, Zepto, and Swiggy, basically gig economy services.
In the above paragraph, we saw how the Indian economy is highly affected by different types of vehicle drivers. Now, vehicles are classified into three categories. H1, H2, and H3 are three different types of licences that RTO provides according to the vehicle’s weight.
License Type H1:
This license is issued for commercial vehicles that can handle multiple passengers and heavy goods, with heavy motor vehicles like mini trucks, minibuses, etc. We also call it an HTV (Heavy Transport Vehicle) license.
License Type H2:
It is mainly issued for heavy passenger vehicles, which contain heavy motors with a capacity of 20 to 25 people. H2 licence issued for tourist coaches and large public buses. We also call it an HPV (Heavy Passenger Vehicle).
License Type H3:
Generally, H3 licenses are allowed for those vehicles that transport heavy goods overseas, like large trucks or lorries. We call them heavy trailers/multi-axle vehicles.
India is a country in which we can see diverse types of vehicle drivers operating every day, and drivers are connected with industries, and for industries, it is important to run a document verification check. We provide excellent and quick driver verification services. The drivers’ verification involved two essential verifications that are written below.
Driver’s Address Verification:
This process involves physical and digital address verification. In digital address verification, we use an online navigation tracker; it is a digital portal that does online address verification. In physical address verification, we send our resources to verify the address. Our resource sends pictures of the home and takes the driver’s reference from neighbours. This process also involves current and permanent address verification according to the client’s needs.
Driver’s Criminal Verification:
Drivers are human, but we cannot compromise on safety. If you want to avoid a criminal, then criminal verification is required. In this process, we do a Global National Database check via an online portal. We also perform police verification, and we gather information from the Magistrate Court, Sessions Court, Civil Court, High Court, and Supreme Court. Some drivers have a history of rash driving. If you are an industry that works with drivers, then create a safe and secure environment specifically for women.
